GG56 Pledges $1 Billion Investment in Forest City for a Sustainable Future
ISKANDAR PUTERI, Aug 21 — GG56 is proud to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable development and cultural exchange. Following months of productive exchanges and meetings, we have formalized our investment of up to $1 billion into the visionary Forest City project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This strategic investment underscores our dedication to building a greener, smarter future while contributing to the cultural and economic landscape of Malaysia.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration between GG56 and Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd (CGPV), the developers of Forest City. The project will include the development of Malaysia’s first Korean Culture Town, featuring K-Content Production Studios, an International Cultural District, and a world-class residential development.
The MOA ceremony was attended by key executives from both companies, including our CEO and co-founder, Mr. Kim Young-kun. In his remarks, Mr. Kim highlighted the significance of this collaboration in establishing Forest City as a leading global destination. “Through our collaboration with CGPV, we aim to contribute to the city’s growth and establish it as a leading global destination,” said Mr. Kim.
Datuk Md Othman Yusof, CGPV’s executive director, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Together, we will build a city that stands as a testament to innovation, culture, and sustainable development.”
Forest City is more than just an urban development; it is a project designed to be a smart, green, and sustainable city that seamlessly integrates residential, commercial, and industrial spaces with cutting-edge technology and infrastructure. This collaboration between GG56 and CGPV is set to transform Forest City into a thriving, global hub that reflects our shared values and aspirations.
As we move forward, GG56 is committed to ensuring that this partnership continues to foster sustainable development and cultural exchange, creating lasting value for the communities involved and setting new standards for urban living.
